This blend from Costieres de Nimes consists of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. It is deep ruby in color. Big red fruit aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and red currant are followed by earthy and a distinctive balsamic tone. Flavors of blackberry, blueberry, bramble, black cherry, black pepper, clover, anise, sweet spice, oak, vanilla, tobacco, and coffee are present. This is a dry wine with medium acidity, medium chalky tannins, and a smooth finish.
